What we collect
We collect the account details you provide (email, and a name or avatar if you sign in with Google), the workspace and prompt content you bring into mowa, repository metadata from the GitHub repositories you connect, and basic usage and diagnostic logs needed to run the service.
How we use it
We use your data to operate mowa: to authenticate you, scan and track prompts, run tests, open pull requests on your behalf, display version history, and keep the product reliable and secure. We do not sell your data or use your prompt content for advertising.
GitHub and connected tools
When you connect a repository, mowa accesses only what the GitHub App installation grants — typically the contents of the repositories you select — to read prompt files and propose changes via pull requests. You can review and revoke this access from your GitHub settings at any time.
Storage and retention
Your content is stored so the product can function across sessions. We retain it while your workspace is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support recovery and meet operational and legal needs. You can request deletion of your workspace data.
Sharing
We share data with the infrastructure and service providers that help us run mowa (such as hosting, database, and email delivery), and where required by law. These providers process data on our behalf under their own safeguards.
Your controls
You can update your account, remove teammates, revoke tokens and integrations, and request export or deletion of your workspace data. Removing access or revoking a token takes effect immediately for new requests.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, so avoid treating mowa as the only copy of important prompt content, and keep your login methods and tokens private.
Changes
mowa is still early, and this policy may change as the product matures. Material changes will be reflected here. Questions about privacy practices are welcome at the address below.
