With 230 years of history under its belt, Girard-Perregaux is one of the oldest watchmakers in Switzerland. And, as you can imagine, the brand has a rich history. One of the most significant creations of the brand is the Tourbillon with Three Bridges, an antique pocket watch built around an incredibly handsome movement with an atypical architecture. This watch has always been a great source of inspiration for watchmakers at GP. Following our presence at Geneva Watch Days 2021, we take a look at GP’s newest watch, a modernised take on the historic bridge movement: the new Tourbillon with Three Flying Bridges in Rose Gold.

In our latest video, we talk to Clémence Dubois, Chief Product and Marketing Officer at Girard-Perregaux, who will present this new Three Flying Bridges watch. Following the presentation of a blackened version dedicated to the partnership with Aston Martin earlier this year, the brand is now releasing a non-limited edition in luxurious rose gold of this modern, architectural watch with an aerial, entirely opened movement that is almost floating in mid-air. The vertically arranged movement is, surprisingly, self-winding with a hidden micro-rotor, and everything is held in place by the three emblematic bridges, executed in gold and partially blackened with gold polished bevels… Quite spectacular.
