GIVE AWAY – Garrick Leather Watch Pouch
After (almost) four weeks with the Seiko Presage give-away, it’s time draw a winner, randomly of course. Keep an eye on you inbox (check the spam folder) because it could just be your lucky day! Now it’s time to move on to the next give-away and we have to thank David Braislford, of Garrick Watches, for making available a beautiful hand-made leather watch pouch that you can win.
David started Garrick Watches less then two years ago and actually surprised friend and foe with the first timepiece that he introduced, the Shaftsbury, back in January 2015. The Shaftsbury featured a in-house manufactured balance, balance cock, and some bridges; yes, entirely manufactured in the UK! Although the base movement is the well known ETA/Unitas 6498, the Garrick calibre is actually the first timepiece featuring quite a few movement parts manufactured on British soil. OK, that is when we do not count Roger Smith and George Daniels, but these two esteemed watchmakers play in an entirely different league. When you look at what’s available for approx. 5,000 GBP and comes with a hand assembled en ragulated movement, comprising a bunch of parts made on British soil, then it becomes clear that Garrick’s offering is just very impressive.
In the past two years David Brailsford introduced three more Garrick timepieces, plus they offer bespoke service. In a few weeks from now the Garrick collection will again be expanded with another model (of course we’ll keep you posted, especially because it’ll feature a fully in-house made movement!), however for now, we’ll move forward to the next give-away and as usual, you have to answer a few question in order to register for the give-away.
Registering for the sweepstake ended!
