Girard-Perregaux Chrono Hawk with bracelet

Last year Girard-Perregaux launched the new Hawk collection (see here), comprising a re-designed Sea Hawk and the new Chrono Hawk. The Hawk collection is GP’s rugged and sporty collection and all models came on a rubber strap or leather strap with a rubber inside. Adding a stainless steel seems a logical next step, and it simply looks great!

This new bracelet has a distinctive geometric style, featuring two types of link, which are subtly interwoven. The finishing is alternating polished and satin finished on the two outer bevels of the central links. The shape of the central links looks a lot like the pattern of the famous Girard-Perregaux tourbillon bridge; a reference that also comes back in the pattern of the dial.

Together with the new stainless steel bracelet, Girard-Perregaux introduces two new dials for the Chrono Hawk. A deep metallic blue dial, which really emphasizes the tourbillon bridge pattern on the dial, and a silver dial with black sub dials for the chronograph registers, which will be baptizes ‘panda’ version b collectors. Just like the GP Traveler WW.TC with a panda dial, that we reviewed for you (see here).

The bracelet closes with a secure folding clasp and features a micro-adjustment system to ensure wearing comfort. Finally, it is interchangeable with the rubber version and can be ordered separately. On the steel bracelet, the new GP Chrono Hawks will come at a retail price of € 13.900 Euro (including taxes).
