Zenith Defy Classic Skeleton Mykonos Edition – The Summer Vibe
Blue and white colour scheme to celebrate summer.
Summer is on its way (or is already in for some of us)… Thus it is time to find the right watch to wear on the beach, on a boat, at a party, next to the pool or to hold your favourite cocktail! In short, a watch that looks cool and that can resist to this active life. Zenith’s option is certainly not your typical dive or adventure-themed watch, but let’s agree that this Defy Classic Skeleton Mykonos Edition has, its in own style, the summer vibe.
The Mykonos theme
The main idea behind this Mykonos Edition of the Zenith Defy Classic Skeleton was to give it the style and look of this Island, most famous for its white and blue houses, its clear blue waters and the paved roads going from one beach to another.
In short, Zenith has teamed up with Greek retailer GOFAS to create a perfectly suitable watch… And as you can expect, it plays on the white-and-blue theme. The case of this limited edition is made of unusual blue ceramic, which retains the same polished and brushed surfaces as the titanium version. In the same vein, the main plate of the movement, visible through the sapphire crystal dial and skeletonized as a star, is blue PVD coated.
The Zenith Defy Classic Skeleton Mykonos Edition also features a white inner seconds flange for more contrast, as well as facetted, rhodium plated hands and indexes filled with Blue Super-LumiNova.
The more surprising element of this watch certainly is its strap… The base is white rubber and, on the upper surface is applied a second rubber insert, this time in blue and adorned with a “Mykonos Pavement” pattern. Unexpected but rather cool. A second rubber strap, in white with a classic grid pattern, is also included in the box.
Zenith Defy Classic Skeleton as a base
Apart from these new colours, materials and straps, this Mykonos Edition remains equal to all the other Zenith Defy Classic Skeleton, the brand’s vision of a luxury sports watch. Its shaped case measures 41mm in diameter and 10.75mm in height. The movement inside is the in-house calibre Elite 370 SK, a thin, openworked automatic movement with comfortable 50-hour power reserve. The back of the watch reveals the star-shaped rotor as well as a decorated sapphire crystal.

Amazing!
More amazing after a few stiff drinks on the yacht.
Strap looks like a bad skin condition.
