Laurent Ferrier Galet Secret Tourbillon Double Spiral Meissen
Laurent Ferrier has partnered with Meissen Italia and they’re already showing a beautiful result of this strategic partnership. The Galet Secret Tourbillon Double Spiral, that we introduced to you here, but now with a hand-painted porcelain dial.
And yes, you read it correct, I typed “Meissen Italia”. Usually when we think of Meissen, we think Germany. Well, Meissen Group started an Italian subsidiary for developing its Meissen Joaillerie portfolio, and also wanted to secure a connection with a watch brand in the top segment. And Laurent Ferrier is as “top segment” as it gets!
During Baselworld a second pièce unique, also the result of this new partnership, will be shown, also based on the Galet Secret Tourbillon Double Spiral. The Meissen porcelain dials are razor-thin and are always one of a kind, hand-made.
‘For us, it is very exciting to cooperate with this brand that has been famous for more than 300 years’, explains Olivier Müller, Laurent Ferrier’s CEO. ‘We now stand apart not just technologically, but even from companies whose dials are finished in enamel – we can offer our clients real works of art in the ‘metiers d’art’ segment. Once you have experienced the great skill, precision, and incredible attention to detail with which the dials are painted by the artisans at MEISSEN, you understand why our two companies are suited perfectly to one another, why there is such harmony between us.”
