Introducing – MCT comes with his vision of the Skull on the Sequential One S110

Memento Mori. Remember that you have to die – Several brands have released skull watches that look badass while reminding of the importance of seizing the day. Not to be outdone, MCT watches present a skull version of its Sequential One S110 available in exclusive limited editions.

Among the unorthodox mechanical time displays imagined by watchmakers, MCT Sequential One’s is without doubt one of the smartest and more impressive. A stunning in-house development fueled with pure independent watchmaking spirit. Four sets of prisms at 12, 3, 6 and 9 provide an oversized digital indication of hours. A minute arch (270°) makes a jump of 90° every hour to reveal the next hour. Minutes are punctuated by a central hand on the minute circle. The triangular prisms opposite the indicated hour slowly rotate to reveal the next hour numeral (to understand how this watch works, read our in-depth review here).

The Neuchatel-based independent watch brand now unveils a limited edition (10 pieces) of the Sequential One where a skull rotates to reveal every hour a new set of the brand’s distinctive triangular rotating prisms. The skull – and the associated crossbones – are crafted from ultralight aluminum finished in different versions: yellow, green and brushed aluminum. A fourth all-blacked version of the MCT Sequential One S110 Skull features a black Superluminova coating to make sure you can still look death in the eye at night.

As Halloween is just around the corner, this special edition is unveiled in the frame of SIAR, the inescapable horological date in Mexico where “memento mori” art culminates with the Calaveras (representation of human skulls) celebrating the deaths during the ‘dia de muertos’ festivities. The MCT Sequential One S110 Skull retails at 95,500 CHF (before taxes).
