Black watches are more then ever before a fashionable thing. Black luxury sports watches, like this unique set of dive watches from Richard Mille, are already well accepted. Lately we also see black dress watches like this Girard-Perregaux Tourbillon Bi-Axial or this unique Piaget Altiplano for Only Watch

Xetum is now painting it black and they do it in style. The Tyndall is one of Xetum’s watch models and we reviewed it for you here. A lovely and very affordable timepiece and now it comes in a black jacket. With a black leather strap and a black rotor and a black deployant clasp. A complete black Tyndall that looks absolutely very fine.

The Tyndall comes in a matte black PDV coated case. The black dial with white indexes, numerals and writing has an almost instrument-style contrast, that looks very practical. In the front the Tyndall has a sapphire crystal. The Tyndall is water resistant to 100 meters.

Inside ticks an ETA Swiss automatic movement; an elaboré grade (best finished version) finished caliber ETA 2895-2, with engraved black rotor. The glass in the see-through case back is mineral crystal. Although most watch lovers prefer sapphire, it is actually not necessary for the crystal in the case back. Because that crystal is mostly flat on your wrist, chances on scratching it are minimal.

Xetum uses naturally tanned leather strap with lining of Italian cork. That totally suits the eco-friendly imago of this Californian based watch brand. The buckle of the Tyndall PVD is also PVD coated.

The Xetum Tyndall PVD is available for $ 1495 and pre-ordering has started here on the Xetum website. Delivery will start on October 23.
