Patek Philippe Rare Handcrafts 2020 Exhibition in Geneva

This year is not the easiest when it comes to travelling and attending events and exhibitions… but if you happen to be in Geneva early November, there’s one event you should not miss: Patek Philippe’s rare handcrafts 2020 Exhibition in its historic headquarters on Rue du Rhône. It will be simply the most comprehensive collection of masterpieces made using rare handcrafts ever on display there.
Patek Philippe will present a collection of one-of-a-kind masterpieces and limited editions incorporating a remarkable range of rare handcrafts allowing for a unique view into the brand’s savoir-faire. More than 70 pocket watches, wristwatches and clocks will be on display on this occasion, in the brand’s luxurious salon located on Rue du Rhône, Geneva.

The specialist techniques showcased on this occasion include manual engraving, cloisonné enamel, miniature painting on enamel, flinqué enamel on hand-guillochéd decorations, paillonné enamel, enamel with Limoges painting, fauré enamel (relief enamel), Longwy enamel on faience, gem-setting or wood micromarquetry.

In addition to the exhibition of these exceptional pieces, craftsmen from the manufacture will demonstrate their age-old yet state-of-the-art techniques.
This Patek Philippe Rare Handcrafts 2020 Exhibition is open to the public from November 4 to 14, 2020, every day (except Sundays) from 11 AM to 6 PM. The event is located at the Patek Philippe salons on rue du Rhône 41, 1204 Geneva. Due to the exceptional situation that we are facing with COVID-19, Patek Philippe has taken the precautionary measure of postponing the Rare Handcrafts exhibition that was scheduled at the Patek Philippe Salons from November 4 to November 14.
