Millennium Watch Book

Following last year’s success of the Millenium Watch Book, Swiss publisher Brice Lechevalier of GMT publishing is producing a collection of ten additional volumes until 2030, with a new volume to be published every year. The concept of The Millennium Watch Book is to sum up – in 300 pages and 20 chapters – everything you need to know about watchmaking since the year 2000. Following the inaugural edition, the first thematic sequel will be a monograph celebrating tourbillon watches.

The Millennium Watch BookThe Essential of Tourbillons since 2000 looks back at the roots of Abraham-Louis Breguet’s invention, its contemporary history and the evolution of its technology, while also focusing on 50 must-have tourbillon watches. Like the inaugural edition, this new opus is a collective work assembled by and written in collaboration with international watch experts – our Swiss Editor Xavier Markl is once again one of the writers to have contributed to this beautifully illustrated book.

More details on www.the-watch-book.com where the 2021 Millenium Watch Book can be ordered via subscription at an early-bird price of CHF 99 (until the end of August).

  1. Una noticia excelente. En esta era digital cada vez se le da menos valor al libro impreso

  2. A monumental series like this should be planned for well ahead of the publication. Why the categories after 2022 are treated like a mystery?
