While we’ve been showing you many of the unique piece for Only Watch 2013, Omega and golf player Rory McIlroy give you the chance to bid (and win) a unique version of the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M “Golf”. This auction is much different from what you’re probably used to, because everyone can email their highest bid to [email protected] until 6 p.m. (EDT) on 17 August. The starting bid is set at $ 5,500 USD which is on par – pun intended – with the normal list price.
Last year, Omega introduced the Aqua Terra 150M “Golf”. This is a standard 41 mm Aqua Terra 150M with the in-house caliber 8500, however now with a few green elements on the dial. The minutes in the minute track are printed in “golf green” as well as the model name “Seamaster” on the dial. Whether you want it for playing golf or simply because you like the green on the dial, it’s an attractive timepiece with Omega’s in-house movement.
Omega ambassador Rory McIlroy signed the watch certificate and watch box of the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M “Golf”, which features his signature metalized on the inner surface of the sapphire crystal case-back. The auction started on the 7th and will end on the 17th of August, so you still have 5 full days to mail your bid to [email protected].
