AK Genève made something really special: the Warp HMS Automatic.

At first i wouldn’t even recognise it as a watch. On the forums this funky wrist-thing has already been baptised as Time Machine and it does indeed have strong “Startrek” looks. The Warp HMS Automatic, as it is officially named, was first shown at the Wold tempus in april of 2008. It is in production right now and the planning is that the first watches will be deliverred in november, according to the manufaterer Arnie Kapshitzer or AK in short.

If you want to read more about this funky wrist-thing… you can find information on Gizmodo.com. Personally i think my Seiko Burger is funky enough for a wristwatch and i find it difficult to imagine this thing around my wrist. Well, maybe we’ll get to try it sometime.
